Nara Park, Todai-ji Temple, Nigatsu-do Hall, Kasuga Grand Shrine— all the famous landscapes of the ancient capital are within walking distance, yet the bustle of tourist sites never reaches inside this house.

An exclusive whole-house rental for one group per day. With close friends or family, you can spend uninterrupted time together.

This house was not born as an accommodation.

Once upon a time, a small private school called "Aozora Juku" (Blue Sky School) operated here.

Children who didn't fit into mainstream cram schools or rigid formats would gather after school, and one woman opened a place of learning while living here.

There was no blackboard, no bell, no elaborate curriculum. What existed was time to listen and quiet space to think.

In the morning, open the windows and look up at the sky. At night, dim the lights and end the day. For a long time in this house, rather than "teaching" and "learning," time spent together simply accumulated.

This is not a place where special success stories are told. Yet the time that passed through here has certainly become part of someone's life.

KURASHI did not choose to preserve this house as "a place that was once a school."

What we inherited was the quality of time that flowed through it.

A place that is quiet, unassuming, where each person can spend time at their own pace.

You, staying in this house now, need not accomplish anything. You need not pack your schedule.

Simply watch the color of the morning sky, boil water, and begin your day quietly.

This house was perhaps never meant to change anyone— but rather, to help them return to themselves.
